We do! We can frame a variety of textiles, such as needlepoint, sports jerseys, quilts, embroidery, even silk scarves and other clothing. We typically sew the textile objects onto museum board to create a lasting archival display.
Do you frame textiles?
Yes, we can stretch or re-stretch canvas onto custom cut-and-joined pine stretcher bars.
Do you stretch canvas?
Definitely! We re-use existing frames all the time, and even have some of our own that we sell at a discount.
Can I get something framed in a frame I already own?
Absolutely. We handle all artwork with tremendous care, and your artwork will be safely stored in flat files or boxes in our climate-controlled and surveillance monitored storefront until framing.
My artwork is very valuable! Is it safe to leave my art at Seven Arts between the consultation and framing?
While we do specialize in preservation framing, we are not art conservators. We can do some light surface cleaning and tape removal, but for most conservation concerns we recommend The Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts and Corine McHugh.
I have a piece of art that needs some conservation work done. Is that something you can do?
We do not have high quality printing services at Seven Arts. We recommend Fireball, Butterfield Editions, TILT, and Stockbridge Fine Art Print.
Do you offer printing services?
Not to worry! We can cut a variety of glass types, such as Museum Glass, Conservation Clear and UltraVue70, up to 48 x 68”.
Help! I have a frame with broken glass.
I’m unable to pick up / drop off my artwork in person. Do you have delivery options available?
We often encounter oversized or delicate artworks that need extra care in transit. We work with a variety of trusted couriers that can safely deliver your artwork to and from Seven Arts. Contact us for a quote!
